It's summer and that means we are hitting the parks. That also means we don't want to hit the same parks all summer long. We have compiled a list of our 5 favorite parks. We compiled this list based on the following criteria; big and little kids equipment, locations in each area of the city, open spaces and the ability to accomodate groups and picnics. Check in all summer as we continue to review local attractions.

1. America the Beautiful/Central

  • Play areas for both younger and older children
  • An amazing fountain on site for kids to splash
  • Lots of open space
  • Covered areas for parties and picnics

2. Woodmen Valley/Northwest

  • Equipment for younger and older children
  • Gazebo for parties and picnics
  • Open Spaces
  • Sand, so bring sand toys

3. Cottonwood Creek/Northeast

  • Full service center! Multiple levels of play equipment, rec center, walking trails
  • Covered picnic area
  • Open spaces

4. Nancy Lewis/Central
