We all think our kids are the cutest! Many of us know they can win a cute kid contest. Here are a few tips to follow when entering a cutest kid contest. These were compiled from various photographers and judges.

• Take photos with simple backgrounds. Please don't share your mess with everyone. Natural scenery always looks good.
• Pictures with food on their face don't go over well, we want to see that cute face, not this morning's breakfast.
• Do take photos that show your child's personality.
• Don't submit extreme close-ups, please. It makes it hard to see the whole child.
• Ditch the hats! We want to see your cute kid.
