Ready to Be an Empty-Nester? Not so Fast New Study Says!

Do you have an 18-31 year old child?

Known as "Millennials", the chances of these kids leaving the nest is not as likely as it used to be.

The Census Bureau data is reporting the highest numbers on record (36%) of Millennials still living at home. "Living at home" does still include kids living in a dorm at college.

Although the economy is slightly better than it used to be, more kids are choosing to live at home because they don't have a job or are staying with their parents in order to save money the New York Times reported.

But one interesting fact: Women are still more likely to move out of the house than men are, with about a 10 percent difference (50 percent of women ages 18 to 24 vs. 60 percent of men ages 18 to 24 move back in with their parents), according to Mom.me.
