A North Carolina couple let their 2-year-old "drive" them home, in the rain. Then they decided to post the video on Facebook for all the world to see. They are drawing criticism from a lot of people, while others are saying it is no big deal.
The problems people have with this video:
- The child was not in a car seat.
- It was raining, which makes driving in general more difficult.
- They gave in to a child regardless of safety issues.
Some people are saying it is no big deal because the dad had his hand on the wheel. Many of us had parents who let us "drive" in our neighborhoods or on back roads.
'I feel bad for doing it and I wasn't thinking, we weren't thinking,' the mother said
. She is concerned about her husband's job with the Marine Corps after the video went viral. An anonymous friend called the local news station after seeing the video.
Do you think this is a big deal or is it just people getting crazy over nothing?
