We're excited to introduce Lynn Jennings, our newest Mom on the Move. She is the co-host of the Just Between Friends sale here in Colorado Springs. Thank you, Lynn, for sharing a little of yourself with the My719Moms.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY:
*I have been married to my best friend for almost 16 years and we have
2 beautiful children, a 9 year old daughter and 7 year old son.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS:
*Just Between Friends is a nationwide children's and maternity
consignment sale and my business partner, Melissa, and I have been
holding the sale here in CO Springs for 5 years now. Our sale has grown
from 40 to 500+ consignors that participate in our events. We sell
gently used/new children's items from clothing to baby gear to toys to
maternity items. All of the items are priced 50-90% off retail. We have
been able to impact our community in a tremendous way by providing
quality items at huge discount. We also have the opportunity to benefit,
in part, Peterson AFB Airman's Attic by donating items at the end of
each event.

WHAT IS THE MOST REWARDING THING ABOUT BEING A MOM:
* I love being home with my kids every day watching them learn, grow,
and be a part of each moment. I don't take that for granted as I know
there are a lot of moms that don't get the opportunity to stay home. Its
been a blessing to our family.

WHAT IS THE MOST REWARDING THING ABOUT BEING A MOM ON THE MOVE?
*Wow, its been an honor to be a Mom on the Move! Its great to hear what
other moms do on a daily basis and learn from one another. The
commitment that moms have to their families and how they help provide
for them is inspirational.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE BEING A MOM?
*There are a lot of challenges to being a mom (or just parenting in
general) but I think that taking time for myself has been hard because I
feel guilty when I leave. I'm learning that its an important thing to do
though. Giving yourself a break here and there makes you a better mom.
Just do it moms and don't feel guilty!!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BOOK FOR KIDS OR TEENS?
*I love Jan Brett books and Eric Carle books, probably because I used
to teach Kindergarten and read them a lot.

What is your favorite adult book?
*Any books by Karen Kingsbury

Make sure to check out Just Between Friends Sale!
