"Meet" our newest Mom on the Move Dr. Andrea D'Addario. She is a wonderful pediatric dentist who owns Rocky Mountain Pediatric Dentistry. She is the mother of twins and she's shared some good tips with us.

Tell us about your family: My wonderful husband, Matthew D'Addario, and I are the proud parents of twin 1 year old boys. We are expecting another child in the Spring and are excited to only be having one this time. I am originally from rural Kentucky, and my husband is from Canada. I am a pediatric dentist and my husband is an oral surgeon. Our careers and love of the mountains brought us to Colorado Springs.

Tell us about your business: I started my own business two years ago, Rocky Mountain Pediatric Dentistry. I have always loved treating children and enjoy having a small town feel to my practice. My practice philosophy revolves around providing the best, most well-rounded care for all children in a comfortable environment. I feel that it is very important to give back to the community and am an active advocate for children.

What is the most rewarding thing about being a mom: Seeing my boys grow and all the new and different things they do every day. The way they smile at me just melts my heart (which I'm certain will get them out of trouble with me more than a few times, at some point in the future.)

What is the most rewarding thing about being a mom on the move? I get to do both things that I love; be a mom and a pediatric dentist. I enjoy taking care of kids in the community as well as my own. In my position, I have been fortunate that I am in a situation where I am able to give back. I have been honored to be a supporter of many worthy organizations such as Newborn Hope, Colorado Mission of Mercy, Kids in Need of Dentistry, the Starlight Children's Foundation, and the Colorado Springs Junior League.

What is your biggest challenge being a mom? The fact that there will always be some worry and that I always feel like I can do more for them. Bath-time has become a challenge these days with two rowdy boys. It is a good day when no one got hurt and there is no poop in the tub.

What are some of your mom shortcuts or tips you could share with us? Set up good habits early. We expect them to sleep at night and they do. They will eat anything that we feed them especially healthy foods without a fuss. And, BUY IN BULK!

What is your favorite book for kids or teens? Dora's "Show Me Your Smile". It is more for the younger crowd but it is the best one for introducing them to the dentist.

What is your favorite adult book? I have not read an adult book in a long time, I like fiction that is not close to real life. I enjoyed reading the Twilight series and the DaVinci Code.
