A Dallas mall, NorthPark Center, is requiring that teenagers have a parent with them after 6:00 p.m. They have enacted a new 'code of conduct' that says if a person is under 17-years-old they must be with a parent or legal guardian if they are in the mall. They want to maintain what they call a family friendly atmosphere.
Many parents support the code, but some say 6:00 p.m. is too early and they should amend the time to 8:00 or 9:00. There are some exceptions for teens who are working at the mall or who are attending a movie.
You can read the full code of conduct by clicking here.
What do you think of this policy? Should more malls create curfews for teens?
