Every parent wants their kids to have the best birthday party. We go to great lengths to make sure our kids have a memorable time. However, one business is pushing the limits on those lengths. This sort of reminds me of the parents who let their daughter swim with sharks.
Bob Barrett, owner of Alligator Attractions in Florida, is ready and willing to bring a small alligator to your child's pool party. He said people were hesitant, but the idea is taking off.
"We had the idea of, well, if we do a home, and they have a pool, let's put the gator in the pool," he told Bay News 9. "People were very leery at the beginning, but it has taken off and people just enjoy it."
He tapes the animal's mouth closed before he brings them out and says they don't have the power to open their mouths. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission says Barrett is doing nothing wrong, but they don't think it is a very good idea.
Would you have your kids swimming with alligators at their next birthday party?
