What better way to get a picky eater to eat, then to entice them with St. Patrick's Day Green food? Remember to use a food safe die, like one you would use for frosting when dying food.
- Green Pancakes - add a little dye to the batter
- Green Oatmeal - add a little dye to water or milk before adding into oats
- Green Milk - add a little dye to a glass of milk (stir really well)
- Green Granola with green yogurt - add a little dye to plain or vanilla yogurt. Stay away from berry flavors today.
- Green Milk in Cereal - Add a little dye to the milk before mixing with cereal
- Green Scrambled Eggs - Add a little green dye to the egg mixture, before putting in the skillet to cook. This method also transitions well for when little ones are reading, "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss
- Green fruit Medley - cut up the following fruit: Green apples, kiwis, green grapes, and green pears.
- Cinnamon Rolls with Green Frosting - make store bought cinnamon rolls, but instead of using plain frosting, add green dye to frosing.
- Green Omelets - Add green dye to egg mixture and filling omelet with spinach and mozzarella cheese
- Try a Green Monster Smoothie - these healthy drinks are easy to make. Go here for a great recipe.
