My name is Marissa and I am a single mom to two wonderful children, Riley who will be 9 in November and Lili who just turned 5. Nutrition and fitness became my passions when I lost a total of 85 lbs after having both my children. I had been fit all of my life until I got pregnant. Poor eating and lack of exercise not only put unwanted fat on my body but also messed up my thyroid resulting in hypothyroidism.
In 2009 I decided enough was enough and I started training for the Wisconsin State Bodybuilding and Figure Competition (where we used to live). I placed 5th in my class out of 8 girls and made it a point to reach out and help other women get their bodies back through proper nutrition and exercise. I truly feel that besides being a mother, my calling is helping and teaching others how to live a healthy and FIT life!!
