Tell us about your business: My business is Preparing For Birth, LLC. I am beginning my 7th year as a childbirth educator teaching local classes and labor doula supporting women/families during birth. I also train others to become a educators and doulas for CAPPA and am the President of the ICAN.
What are the perks of being a mom on the move: The people I am privileged to meet, becoming part of their lives, watching their growth in so many ways, bringing a sense of normalcy and confidence in an uncertain time, and of course greeting the brand new lives sometimes in the very moment of birth.
What are some tricks that you have that help you make your day go smooth: Get up earlier than the kids, using a smart phone, prioritizing tasks, asking for help when I need it, and saying no more than I say yes to avoid overscheduling. Overall trying to keep the hakuna matata attitude in most things since the business of life is going to be there no matter what.
